It depends on where you live. While the ads depict “99% covered,” that actually benefits no single individual. No one is going to every point in the United States. A better question might be “are all the places I go and will go covered?”

We would recommend checking the coverage of Sprint and T-Mobile first, and then AT&T and Verizon second. We’ve found that most people have a strong bias toward Verizon in particular as having the best possible coverage for them, when very often all three other providers provide the equivalent or better.
