The Community Phone team is proud to present a new TeleGraham, which is an opportunity for us to pass along some important and exciting announcements about our service as well as to showcase our members. As a reminder our plans start at $25/month and all come with unlimited calls and texts. New smartphones, including iPhones, start at only $5/month.

Thank you to those who have participated in our Care To Share Program! We’re so honored that you’ve recommended us to your friends. If someone signs up for our service from your recommendation, you both receive a free month of cell service up to $100 each!

Each Plan Now With More Data!

We’ve spent this past month talking to our members about ways to make our service even better. A common theme was that they’d like more data on our data-limited plans, so that’s what we’re now offering.

Our $25/month plan now has 1GB instead of 0.25GB, our $35/month plan now has 2GB instead of 1.5, and our $65/month couple plan now has 4GB of shared data.

All new and existing members now have these expanded data packages automatically, at no extra cost. Happy surfing!

Congratulations to two of our amazing members, Peter Lee and Karen Levy, on a stellar performance at the Whitefish Bay Farmer’s Market. Their duo, PK Harmony, includes Peter on the autoharp and Karen on the guitar playing a fun mix of folk revival, American Songbook, and Jug Band favorites, and maybe some 50’s Rock ‘n Roll. Imagine walking from Georgia to Massachusetts with no more than the clothes on your back and $15 in your pocket, oh, and there happens to be a group of methamphetamine dealers hunting you. This is the true story of Community Phone member David Riordan as told in his new book The Baker- Prelude. Reading the book one can hear David’s clear, genuine, matter of fact southern voice outlining his harrowing trek from honor student to addiction, DEA undercover agent to nearly being beaten to death by meth dealers, and everything in between.

While the shocking events of David’s story will have you captivated, his struggle to find strength in his faith and the many miraculous moments that cross his path will leave you inspired. Peppered with David’s witty self-awareness and humility, the book will have you wanting much more.

You can find The Baker- Prelude here on Amazon . If you would like to hear David speak about his gripping journey in person, he will have his very first speaking engagement on Nov. 4th at the Cambridge Salvation Army. Be on the lookout for the final part in David’s story, The Baker- Collusion & Catastrophe, available Dec 1st, 2018 on Amazon.
